Since 1993, Stop the Violence, Increase the Peace Foundation has provided a safer community for Southern California residents.  As a non-profit organization dependent on donations and grants, your gift allows us to continue the important work of increasing peace while diminishing violence in our society. Stop the Violence, Increase the Peace is a federally designated 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 95-4455358, which means that one-hundred percent of your donation will go directly towards our our cause, supporting everything from anger management classes, victim advocacy services, and even financial aid for funerals!  Your donation is also tax-deductible.

"If I had to choose one word to describe what Stop the Violence (STV) Increase the Peace Foundation means to me, it would be impossible!

This organization went above and beyond measure to help me realize how great I was and what I was truly capable of. Growing up with a single mom and dad in prison for all of my adolescence life was a struggle that I would not have been able to overcome without Stop the Violence Increase the Peace Foundation.

I walked through those doors an angry 12-year old unaware of my greatness or how to navigate life. Through the lessons from my STV family, yes family, not just an agency who shuffled me through like another statistic, I was able to step into my own light and out of the darkness. I was able to strive and hold my head high.

Now that I am a 32-year old adult, married and the mother of three amazing sons who I remind daily that they are the sum total of the choices that they make, I cannot forget what Stop the Violence Increase the Peace Foundation and others did by coming into my life and not leaving.

Because of their support, I was the recipient of some much-needed financial help and completed my college education with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I am forever grateful to the probation officers, law enforcement officers, corporations, and my community for supporting STV Foundation because in truth, you were supporting me.
